About Us & The Team
Brunswick Fine Wines & Spirits was created in 2016 by Carlos De Haan and Jamie Graham who between them have over 40 years experience in the fine wine industry. Kenny Stewart joined the team in April 2017.
Carlos De Haan has over 14 years’ experience in the fine wine market. He started working in 2002 for a reputable London UK wine merchant, specialising in private client sales. He went on to join the company board of directors as Fine Wine Director in 2009. Within a year Carlos developed private customer reserves, established wine broking as well as expanding the fine wine trading service.
As head of the fine wine department Carlos was responsible for the fine wine buying and led the sales team throughout this period including running all Bordeaux en-primeur campaigns from 2009 to 2014.
His favourite wine regions are classic French and Italian, in particular Burgundy (especially White), Piedmont and Bordeaux, though recently Carlos has developed a serious weakness for dry Sherry.

Jamie Graham has been in the fine wine business since 1989 and has held senior positions for a number of the leading London wine merchants, including Berry Bros & Rudd, Farr Vintners and most recently as Sales Director at Fine & Rare Wines.
This knowledge of the fine market and unparalleled connections throughout the domestic and international trade allow him to source well priced parcels and this coupled with his love of wine help him advise customers on how to create their perfect cellar whether it be for collecting, drinking, investing or helping them choose whether they should be buying or selling particular wines.
Jamie has travelled extensively overseas visiting and works with customers both on a trading and advisory basis
An unashamed Europhile Jamie is at his happiest talking, tasting and drinking from the great European wine regions, not to mention having a keen interest in whisky.

Kenny Stewart, now with 18 years in the fine wine trade first stole across the Scottish border in 1999 to manage Oddbins Fine Wine in London. During its most successful phase, he developed the private client side of the business, a role he has specialised in since, coordinating en-primeur campaigns like 2000 Bordeaux. After a stint at Fine & Rare Wines, learning the world of broking, a desire to get closer the great growers of France, meant a switch to a newer London company for 5 years, composing the company’s wine offers, buying Burgundy and continuing the private client role. Thereafter he was chosen by a former Oddbins buyer to set up a Fine Wine department for a well-established trade company in Oxfordshire and enjoyed 4 years amidst the dreaming spires. At the end of this project a return to London saw Kenny working as Carlos de Haan’s right hand man as Head of Private Clients and the two got on famously, Kenny bringing his love of Burgundy and new growers to the portfolio. He revitalised the standing of this region within the company and increased public interest by running private client tastings to showcase the wines of this ever-revered region. Kenny was thrilled to (re) join Carlos and Jamie as a director at Brunswick in April 2017.
Still as keen on customer service and detecting the nuances between all those 1er and Grand Crus, Kenny opts for Burgundy – particularly white stuff – as his go-to region. He also manages to spend sizeable amounts of his pocket money on the Rieslings of Germany and the occasional beauty from Barolo or Barbaresco while his Bordeaux reds age glacially, frustratingly never quite ready to open.
